Discover the 4 Wonders of Our Baja World

The Most Unique Experiences in Los Cabos

Known for pristine azure waters, predictably sunny weather, and panoramic ocean views, Los Cabos has been a vacation destination since the ‘50s, when stylish film stars used the village at the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula as a Hollywood hideaway.

And with Cuvée, not only can you experience the wonders of life on the Baja, you’ll be guided on a personalized and custom-curated voyage through Cabo. From the captivating allure of the Sea of Cortez and the authentically unique culture that defines Los Cabos, to our Cuvée in Los Cabos “secret weapons,” we welcome you to discover our top reasons for experiencing Cabo in Cuvée-style.

1. The Allure of the Sea of Cortez

Life in Los Cabos continues to revolve around the water, what French conservationist Jacques Cousteau once called the “world’s aquarium” for its rich marine life. Cabo’s spectacular migrating season draws thousands of friendly gray whales for close encounter watching from ship or shore.

The Great Whale Migration: Arriving by late December, Gray whales use Baja as their major Pacific calving grounds. Often described as the longest known mammal migration in the animal kingdom. The sight of a 45-foot-long, 40-ton whale leaping out of the water will take your breath away.

The World’s Aquarium by a Cuvée Catamaran: Our luxury catamarans are the perfect way to cruise Los Cabos’ protected oceans, filled with a tremendous variety of marine wildlife. Marvel at the organic architecture of El Arco, a towering granite formation at the very end of the Peninsula, spotting dolphins, sea lions, and turtles along the way.

Sunset on the Baja: Although sunset over the Sea of Cortez can be spectacular no matter where you stand, we have some favorite Cabo beaches that can make the sight truly memorable: Try Costa Azuls, a hot spot hangout for locals and surfers, or the pinkish colored sands of the horseshoe-shaped Playa Santa Maria, situated between cactus-covered cliffs, and the popular Bhia Chileano, a fairly wide flat beach perfect for strolling.

2. Discover Cabo Culture in Cuvée-Style

Back on land, food and culture lovers can have it all—dining by star chefs like Jean-Georges Vongerichten and fresh local offerings from Flora’s Field Kitchen, to exploring the intricacies of artisanal tequilas and the charm of Baja artisans, there’s a plethora of local and authentic Mexican life to discover every day of the week.

La Playa Dinner: Spend the evening wining and dining at a beautifully set table on the beachfront, aglow with twinkling candles and bonfire, before witnessing the unforgettable sight of local fire dancers, a modern performance based on the Ancient Aztec tradition honoring Xiuhtecuhtli, the God of Fire. The intricate choreography and theatrical techniques are so amazing—as through the dancers are juggling fireworks.

Artisanal Tequila Tasting: Don’t leave Cabo without an artisanal tequila tasting from our resident expert Gerardo. You’ll discover tequila’s long history while exploring some of the finest examples of this distinctly Mexican spirit, including the five official classifications determined by the barrel aging time, paired with tapas that bring out the best of each.

Mexican Flavors Cooking Class: With a Cuvée in-villa cooking class, you’ll learn the basic techniques behind this vibrant and flavorful regional cuisine. Our private chef shares the tricks of the trade, from hands-on tamale lessons to mastering mole, guacamole and salsa, as well as the secrets to crafting the most authentic margaritas.

3. Cuvée’s Cabo: Our Difference-Makers

What makes Cabo even more exciting is our team of passionate experience curators—longtime residents who love sharing the insider places that makes Cabo so special, including our Mexican designed inspired villas.

Meet Our Cabo Team:

Silvia: I share the outdoor Los Cabos life with my husband Victor and two lovely dogs. We’ve lived here for 20 years, and I am still passionate about the special places and people in this outdoor paradise. I guess you can say I am filled with “local love” for my beautiful corner of the world, and that’s why I am always happy and proud to share my “Where to Go” list with our guests.

Gerardo: I love the fact that I am a local and have lived here since my childhood, surrounded by friends and family. Because I love sharing the unique culture and attractions only found in Los Cabos, my favorite part about creating and coordinating stays for our guests is to see them leave our properties with a huge smile on their faces, thankful for the beautiful time they had in my special hometown.

Cris: I was born in Mazatlán, Sinaloa MX and moved to San Jose del Cabo as a child and ever since then, I’ve been in love with Cabo, a beautiful place to live. There is something for everyone in our paradise: from world class sport fishing, golf, amazing culinary experiences, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and horseback riding. But one of my favorites that I enjoy sharing with our guests is cruising the Sea of Cortez on a yacht at sunset.

4. Our Curated Cabo Collection

Casita Azul: From its elevated position overlooking the Sea of Cortez, Casita Azul combines expansive outdoor living areas with an airy indoor open floor plan to highlight the beauty of its natural surroundings. Each of the four bedrooms opens to an ocean view terrace, while the double kitchens—a fully equipped interior chef’s version, as well as the outdoor style with a fire pit and poolside terrace—means gathering for meals wherever, whenever the mood strikes.

4 bedroom Los Cabos Villa Rentals

Seaside La Casita: Named a “Top 100 Villa” by Travel+Leisure, Seaside La Casita has dramatic 270-degree views from its multi-level courtyard, complete with palapa bar and grill, Spanish fountain, and signature infinity pool tiled with mosaic constellations, mirroring the stars in the night sky. A private sanctuary in the prestigious gated Villas Del Mar community, the villa’s five luxury bedroom suites plus adjacent guesthouse, designed in charming Old-World Spanish-style, are only steps away from the five-star amenities at One & Only Palmilla Resort, consistently at the top of the Condé Nast’s “Gold List”.

Hacienda La Buena Vida: Nestled into the cliffs overlooking the turquoise sea, Hacienda La Buena Vida takes its design inspiration from its beautiful natural setting. Centered around an infinity pool and landscaped lounging space, the 6-bedroom villa mixes Mexican authenticity with luxurious amenities into a family and friends retreat within Villas Del Mar Palmilla, the most exclusive home collection in Los Cabos, near the One & Only Palmilla resort.
