To snow or not to snow— that’s no longer the question. From its mountaintop greenery and flowery meadows to picturesque artist towns, Colorado has emerged as a seasonless destination, with plenty of reasons to head for the hills, no matter the weather.
Summer
Authentic Colorado Summer Events
Colorado is a perfect summer short hop for a long weekend of culture and countryside. The Vail Dance Festival showcases that artistry at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, a spectacular outdoor venue with an equally impressive Rocky Mountain view, while Jazz Aspen presents jazz performances and education workshops. Join Cuvée at Big Green’s 6th Annual Glamor Garden Ball titled ‘Moonage Daydream,’ for a dreamier-than-ever evening of celebration complete with stellar company and unforgettable music.
Outdoor Adventures
Bring out your inner explorer with our Cuvée-curated hiking experience. After packing a picnic of seasonal favorites, our destination managers send you off on a personalized trail, whether you’re after a challenge or just a creekside ramble and fresh mountain air. Bike culture has a strong presence in summer’s outdoor activities, known as the state that invented mountain biking, you can get your own wheels turning with Cuvée-curated biking adventures, available at all three of our resorts: Vail, Beaver Creek & Aspen.
Get a birdseye view from your private plane on a Cuvée Alpine Flight Adventure, flying up to 11,000 feet over Vail’s peaks and valleys, including the Gore Range, Piney Lake, and Beaver Creek.
Summertime Dining
Each resort also has a summer guests’ cabin for lunch or dinner on the mountain top, a short gondola or ski lift ride away: Beaver Creek-Beano’s Cabin, Vail- Game Creek, Aspen Sundeck. Or in town, Mountain Standard is a summertime favorite in the Vail Valley, with quality cocktails and great outdoor seating right along the Gore Creek River.
The Aspen Core doesn’t sleep on Après in summer either; mountain-front hotspots like Ajax Tavern and Chefs Club are the perfect locations to enjoy the afternoon sun while sampling Aspen’s culinary prowess.
Cuvée-Style Summer Experiences
There are times when true luxury is as simple as staying put with our Cuvée in-villa experiences. Go with the flow in a rejuvenating private yoga session, tailored to your pace. Or sit back and let our Chef Dinner Soirée happen as our private chefs prepare whatever works for the occasion, from a carefree Rocky Mountain Barbecue to a “let’s get dressed up” late-night supper, all served up with a local singer-songwriter duo to put the finishing touches on the evening.
Winter
We’re already gearing up for the 2022-2023 ski season at our four resorts, so it’s time to get a jumpstart on your own plans. By first snow, your only remaining decision should be where to après ski: Opening Day Vail- Nov. 19, Beaver Creek- Nov. 24, Telluride- Nov. 23, and Aspen- Nov. 23.
The Cuvée-curated downhill skiing experience starts with a bespoke ski fitting in your villa. And after we get you perfectly outfitted, right down to helmets, we’ll coordinate and hand-deliver your passes so you’ll be totally equipped for whatever the day brings. To get season ready, Epic and Ikon passes are on sale now.
