An Update on Every Destination We Call Home

United States

Colorado

Aspen, Vail and Beaver Creek

• You can access and travel to the Colorado Rockies without restrictions.
• Masks are no longer required for vaccinated individuals in public throughout Colorado, though this may vary from business to business.

Hawaii

• Travelers heading to Hawaii must upload their negative COVID-19 RT-PCR (not antibody or antigen) test results to the Safe Travels system prior to departure or bring a hard copy of their negative test results with them when boarding their flight (carrying your hard copy is recommended either way).
• Trans-Pacific travelers must secure a negative test result before the final leg of their trip to the Hawaiian Islands otherwise they are subject to a 10-day quarantine.
• Post-arrival testing and results are not accepted once you’ve arrived in Hawaii, in which case you have to quarantine for 10 days.

Bahamas

• Beginning May 1, 2021, fully vaccinated travelers will now be exempt from pre-entry COVID-19 testing requirements.
• If not vaccinated, travelers heading to The Bahamas must obtain a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR (not antibody or antigen) test taken no more than 5 days prior to the date of arrival. The negative test result then must be uploaded at travel.gov.bs to apply for a required Bahamas Travel Health Visa.
• As part of the Travel Health Visa application, travelers are required to opt-in to COVID-19 health insurance that covers them for the duration of their stay. Travel Health Visa applications take up to 48 hours to process – make sure to complete with adequate lead time.
• Travelers staying in The Bahamas longer than 4 nights and 5 days will be required to take a rapid COVID-19 antigen test that will provide results in 60 minutes or less. (We can arrange for in-villa/on-island testing.)
• All persons traveling into and throughout The Bahamas will be required to complete a short health survey during their stay – upon arrival and each day thereafter for up to 14 days, or the duration of their stay, whichever is shorter.
• If you are returning to the U.S. following your stay, you must obtain a negative COVID-19 test (RT-PCR or antigen) no more than 3 days prior to the date of your flight home. (We can arrange for in-villa testing.)

St. Barts

• As of June 9, 2021, international travelers will be able to access St. Barts for non-essential travel as long as they are able to show proof of vaccination.
• Even vaccinated travelers will need to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test (RT-PCR test is required to be taken less than 72 hours prior to boarding, and an antigen test is required to be taken less than 48 hours prior to boarding).
• International travelers that are not vaccinated will still be able to access St. Barts for essential travel only, with a negative COVID-19 test shown prior to boarding (same specifications as above), a negative COVID-19 test upon arrival in St. Barts, followed by a 7-day quarantine.

Tuscany

• As of June 21, 2021, just three days after the European Union added the United States to its list of countries approved for entry, EU countries now have the green light to lift travel restrictions for both vaccinated and unvaccinated Americans.
• To meet the new requirements for entering Italy you must provide proof of vaccination completed at least 14 days prior to arrival, a negative COVID test result (PCR or rapid antigen test), or provide proof of having recovered from COVID-19 “with a medical certificate outlining any necessary information.”
• There is no longer a quarantine period as long as you can present one of these upon arrival.
• Masks and social distancing are required in public throughout Italy.

Los Cabos

• Los Cabos was one of the first destinations to welcome back travelers in the wake of the worldwide shutdown.
• A negative COVID-19 test is not required for entry, but visitors will have to complete an online health questionnaire upon arrival.
• If you are returning to the U.S. following your stay, you must obtain a negative COVID-19 test (RT-PCR or antigen) no more than 3 days prior to the date of your flight home. (We can arrange for in-villa testing.)
