The island is approximately 430 acres and surrounded by pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. Royal Island can accommodate up to 18 guests in its various accommodations, which includes five intimate bungalows on the sand and three additional suites, a private beach club with an indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant, as well as spa and fitness facilities.
Royal Island is located 40 miles northeast of Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas. Despite its private location, Royal Island is easily accessible by air. For a truly magical entrance, guests can take a float plane from Ft. Lauderdale and land in the Bay of Royal Island, or guests can fly into North Eleuthera, where they’re met by Royal Island staff for a scenic 15-minute boat trip on the island’s “Royal Treatment” vessel.
Private Sandbar Excursion
When you’re on your own private island, experiencing a remote sandbar is a must. Kayak, paddleboard, or cruise on the island’s boat to your own private sandbar, search for conch and starfish, and refuel with refreshments. The adventure is up to you!
