4th of July in Vail

The Fourth of July in Vail, Colorado brings one of the Rocky Mountains’ most anticipated events. During Vail America Days, the village comes alive with ongoing musical performances throughout the day and a patriotic concert in Ford Amphitheatre, featuring Dallas Symphony Orchestra.

But the parade and show stopping fireworks display are the stars of the show. In the morning (typically around 10 a.m.) the parade begins at Golden Peak on Vail Valley Drive and progresses through town. In the evening, a fantastic nighttime fireworks display is launched from Vail Mountain and is visible from areas all across town. So long as you have a clear view of the front of Vail Mountain, you’ll be able to enjoy the show.

4th of July in Beaver Creek

Beaver Creek Independence Day is designed for ultimate family fun. Stars, Stripes & Slides features incredibly fun slides and bounce houses. A kids’ zone features arts and crafts, face painting, and games in Village Plaza. With food vendors, a bar, and live music in Centennial Park, you could easily spend the whole day celebrating the 4th of July. Then, after a concert on the lawn, end the night with fireworks on Beaver Creek Mountain.

Happening each year on the 4th, it’s a great way to celebrate the holiday – even if you just cheer on the runners from the gondola.

Other 4th of July events in Telluride include an entertaining parade down Main Street, an exciting Air Force Academy flyover, a celebration at Mountain Village Center bursting with family-friendly activities, and a community-wide barbecue in Town Park with classic American eats and traditional games like sack races and pie-eating contests.
